Abstract

|
The aim of this exeriment was to investigate what effects CAULIS AKEBIAE, CAULIS ARISTOLOCHIAE MANSHURIENSIS and CAULIS CLEMATIDIS ARMANDII have on Rats with acute renal failure induced by Gentamicin sulfate.
The results of study were as follows :
1. As to CAULIS AKEBIAE, the increase of the concentrations of creatinine, BUN, ALP, uric acid in the serum and the urine protein in the urine was significantly inhibited and the decrease of the concentration of albumin in the serum and urine creatinine in the urine was significantly inhibited as compared with the control group.
2. As to CAULIS ARISTOLOCHIAE MANSHURIENSIS, the concentrations of, serum creatinine BUN, ALP, uric acid and urine protein was even increased and concentration of albumin in the serum and urine creatinine in the urine was even decreased, therefore there was no significance as compared with the control group.
4. As to CAULIS CLEMATIDIS ARMANDII, even though the increase of the concentrations of creatinine, BUN, ALP, uric acid in the serum and the urine protein in the urine trended to be inhibited, there was no statistical significance and even though the decrease of the concentration of albumin in the serum and urine creatinine in the urine trended to be inhibited, there was no statistical significance as compared with the control group.
